Updated: Jul 6, 2023

Do you love photographing animals in the wild? If so, you know that tracking them can be a challenge. It takes patience and practice to learn how to track an animal effectively. In this blog post, we will discuss some tips and tricks that will help you track animals for photography successfully!

Like the philosophical thought, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Can also be implied that if someone is in the forest and they don't see any wildlife, are they there?

Wildlife has had thousands if not millions of years perfecting how to avoid predators. That’s us and even though we can’t see them, they are all around us and we just need to look or listen and even smell for the signs of wildlife.

Personal Progress

Offical Project Start Date: 10/10/21

Being an Outdoor enthusiast and Photographer I figured I would do an experiment in my local mountains. I will select an area I can explore over the next year to see how many animals, birds, reptiles, insects and wildflowers I can come across, log and photograph. Wildlife is most active in spring time, so I figured I would start in winter in order to get a lay of the land and find some well traveled game trails.
