Gear: Sea to Summit Aeros Premium Pillow
Luxurious, high-performance comfort without a lot of bulk, the Sea to Summit Aeros Premium pillow is perfect for travel and camping where you can risk a couple of extra grams for a great night's sleep. I have tried over 9 different pillow systems over many years and the Aeros Premium Pillow is the one that ended up working for me. It backs down small and is lightweight and best of all comfortable. My favorite feature is the PillowLock system. It stays put while you sleep.

Price Range: (Regular) $49.95 - (Large) $54.95 - (Deluxe) $69.95
Pros: Compatibility with the unique PillowLock™ system, which keeps your pillow right where it belongs on your Sea to Summit pad. If you do not have a Sea to Summit pad you can purchase the "velcro" on your current pad. Curved internal baffles create contours that cradle your head. The scalloped bottom edge centers the pillow over your shoulders whether you are sleeping on your back, side, or upright in a chair. The multifunction mini-valve makes for easy inflation, deflation, and fine-tuning.
Cons: Cleaning the pillow can be a task. It needs to be hand-washed and rinsed a few times to make sure you get all the soap out of the fabric then air dried which can take a little time. You need to make sure it's 100% dry before you pack it away or you will get mildew. If you are on a long backpacking trip you can dry it on the outside of your pack as you hike, weather permitting. Sea to Summit has come out with Easy Wash Pillowcases.
