Wildflowers of North America Guide

There are thousands of different wildflower species that can be found in North America. The exact number of species is difficult to determine because new species are still being discovered and described by scientists, and the classification of some species is still a subject of debate. However, it is estimated that there are approximately 20,000 species of vascular plants (including wildflowers) native to North America. This number includes both flowering and non-flowering plants.
